About Us

Climb Snowdon was founded in 2014 by Ross and Kate Worthington, with a mission to inspire a love for the mountains, build confidence, and ensure unforgettable days on the spectacular Yr Wyddfa.

Their passion, combined with over 40 years’ combined Mountain Leading experience, has resulted in Climb Snowdon becoming one of the most popular and trusted Snowdon guided walk providers in the country. Today, Kate, Ross and a team of incredible Mountain Leaders take hundreds of people up Snowdon every year, donating £1 per walker to the Snowdonia Society to help support the landscape they love.

To date, Climb Snowdon has also helped raise over £308,000 for charities through its innovative Charity Partner Programme.

The Climb Snowdon core team operates from the beautiful town of Caernarfon, at the foot of Snowdon itself.

In the Community

We’re proud of our long-term collaborations with local partners including Snowdon Mountain Railway, Snowdonia National Park, and Snowdonia Taxi. We’re also active supporters of Rhodd Eryri / Snowdonia Giving, with our contributions helping to fund conservation projects, volunteer path maintenance, and litter picks – giving back to the mountain we love. Year on year, we donate £1 per Climb Snowdon walker to the Snowdonia Society.

We can also help you make sustainable choices for transport, accommodation, and local spending, and regularly participate in conservation events like the Real 3 Peaks Challenge.
