Guided Walks on Snowdon

Climb Snowdon - Guided Walks on Snowdon

Join an expert local guide and small group for one of our regular walks up Snowdon. With multiple dates throughout the month, every guided walk is guaranteed to run (regardless of booking numbers) and each one is carefully designed so you get the very best out of your day.

We always aim to use two different routes on our Climb Snowdon days so you can experience the diverse nature of Yr Wyddfa and its ever-changing views. A typical day will start in the village of Llanberis, where your Mountain Leader will guide you over Bwlch Maesgwm to join the top half of The Ranger Path, which commands fantastic views down towards Llyn Cwellyn and to the slopes of Mynydd Mawr, rising steeply from its shores.

Our return is usually along the famous Llanberis Path, bringing you back to where you started the day for a well-earned treat at one of Llanberis’ excellent cafes.

Climb Snowdon - Eden School, Coventry

Eden Girls School, Coventry

Eden Girls School, Coventry worked with RAW Adventures to give 48 of our year 11 girls a mountaineering taster: and what better taster could there be than to climb Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa)!

What a brilliant day we had! We got 41 girls all the way to the top, and the few that had to turn around a little early still came off the mountain buzzing with excitement and a sense of achievement. Indeed, all our girls were in great spirits during the 4-hour coach ride back to Coventry - and I know we've ignited in them a sense of adventure that will draw them back to the mountains!

RAW Adventures said that they have nothing but good things to say about our girls! And that is lovely to hear. And we have nothing but praise for RAW Adventures.

We have worked with them for four years running to deliver our Year 11 Yr Wyddfa challenge, and on each occasion they have been brilliant. Friendly, courteous, patient, reliable and great value for money: what more could we ask for?
