RAW Adventures has been walking its talk from our inception in 2014. We never set out to be just another outdoor adventure company: from day one Kate, Ross and our incredible team have been focused on protecting the mountain environments we love - donating a portion of every guided walk to local environmental charities, supporting the next generation of nature-lovers through our DofE work, and raising tens of thousands for good causes with our charity partner programme. Achieving B Corp certification was the next step in the journey.

What does it mean to be B Corp Certified?

B Corp Certification means we’ve been independently verified to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Our certification was awarded by B Lab™, who assessed our business practices and impact across multiple areas including governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

B Corps' have to demonstrate a commitment to balancing purpose and profit (something we’ve always done, but it’s nice to have it officially recognised!) Certification also requires a commitment to ongoing improvement; we’ll be audited regularly to maintain our B Corp status, ensuring we continue to meet evolving ethical and sustainability standards.

B Corp Certification is a deliberately rigorous and lengthy process - every single aspect of our business practice has been scrutinised and audited, and Ross has had to do much more paperwork than he’s accustomed to! But we’re proud to be part of a growing movement and take our people and planet-friendly practices to the next stage.
