We usually ascend from Llanberis to join the famous Ranger Path, and return to the village via the Llanberis Path, but if you’d like to try a different Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) summit route, your dedicated Mountain Leader can help you choose one - just be sure to let us know at the time of booking.
Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is one of only 18 International Dark Sky Reserves in the world, and, as well as daytime adventures, we also offer bespoke Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) by Night walks and other Group Challenges, all designed to give you an epic experience on the UK's favourite mountain. RAW Adventures helped coordinate our community climb Snowdon on 8th August, with around 100 people of different ages, abilities and hiking experience. Managing a group of this size was no small task, and I was incredibly impressed by how professional and supportive the team were.The organisation on the mountain felt effortless. We naturally formed smaller groups, each supported by guides at the front and back. Regular checkpoints allowed everyone to regroup, rest, eat and drink before continuing. This meant faster and slower walkers could move at comfortable paces without anyone feeling rushed or left behind.
